Why GLPMedic Exists
When I started my GLP-1 medication journey, I spent hours searching Reddit threads, scrolling through forums, and piecing together information from dozens of different sources. Some of it was helpful. A lot of it was contradictory. And almost none of it came from someone with medical training.
As a licensed paramedic (EMT-P) serving the metro-Detroit area, I knew I could do better. Not as a replacement for your doctor — nothing replaces that relationship — but as a knowledgeable friend who can explain things in plain language and share what I’ve learned both professionally and personally.

GLPMedic is a free educational resource. Every article on this site is available at no cost. Here’s what we cover:

The hardest part of starting GLP-1 medications wasn’t the medication itself — it was not knowing what was normal. “Is this side effect something to worry about?” “Should I be eating differently?” “When does it get easier?” Those are the questions this site is built to answer.
The Tracking Toolkit
Beyond the free educational content, I’ve created a set of printable tracking templates — side effect logs, progress trackers, meal planners, and appointment prep worksheets. These are the tools I wish I’d had when I started.
The templates are available as a paid bundle because, honestly, creating and maintaining all of this takes time and effort. But the educational content will always be free.
